Let her have her cake and eat it too!! But I also think it’s fun to explore other possibilities in fanon. Even if I think in canon she will ultimately be able to reconcile her ability to be with Yeza and travel with the M9 too. Idk I want to respect the fact where her heart truly lies she’s not sure yet with and part of her journey is figuring that out.
my OTP: Mmmmm… I think Nott’s in this part of her life where she’s not completely in love with Yeza, though she loves him if it makes sense. I also can’t wait to see her updated Veth art, where she’s combined all the best parts of herself with having her body back with all the joy she’s gained as Nott and hopefully a smile since the Veth art is so so sad. One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I mean… I’m really excited for her to return to her halfling form!! Obviously she needs to do it at her own pace, but I’m looking forward to when she inevitably does. ALSO she’s not Caleb’s mom and never was - she was just communicating who was taking care of who here. Also Yeza is going to have to step up and start growing his own identity too. She’s just gonna have to figure out a balance. 
The thing is that now being away from her family and especially now avoiding them… She’s also lacking fulfillment there to. She’s just afraid she loves all that because she’s a goblin and being Veth will end that chapter in her life, not realizing that she’d already been dissatisfied with her conventional life and it had nothing to do with being a goblin and all to do with being fulfilled in a way she hadn’t been. Sam’s already done the whole leaving thing, true, but also… Nott’s made it extremely clear that she likes traveling with the M9 and being an adventurer.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I’m like… Totally unconcerned about Nott leaving the M9 right now. Close runner up with Jester who is closely followed by Keg. 
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Caleb. All the people I ship romantically with this character: Jester, Beau, the Minotaur… was he ever given a name?, Yeza (I want 2 add Caleb isn’t here because I think it’s weird but because I just don’t ship Caleb with anyone). How I feel about this character: I’m at the point where I love and am extremely attached to every member of the M9.
